Susan montgomery - I have a request for a topic.  I have spoken with Laura about this, but it would be helpful to hear what the group has to add too.  In one of the antique stores on Main St. there is a KKK figurine with the KLAN salutation KIGY [Klansman I Great You] that is up for sale for the asking price of $325.  It is 3-4" tall and made of metal.  I saw this at the beginning of the month, spoke to the owner about why they were selling it and am still in a quandary about what to do or not do.  There are quite a few symbols around town that state their intent is to express history and not hate.  This ties into issues about free speech, white supremacy and community involvement which is all at the forefront of what is going on in our country.  So not only am I asking for a broader discussion, I would also appreciate some ideas about what to do with this particular figurine.

Holders of political office are but reflections of the dominant leadership—good or bad—among the electorate.  Horatio Bunce is a striking example of responsible citizenship.  Were his kind to multiply we would see many new faces in public offices or, as in the case of Davy Crockett, a new Crockett.

Dr. William A. Tiller - The Tiller Institute of Pyschoenergetic Science

"For the last four hundred years, an unstated assumption of science is that human intention cannot affect what we call 'physical reality.' Our experimental research of the past decade shows that, for today's world and under the right conditions, this assumption is no longer correct. We humans are much more than we think we are and Psychoenergetic Science continues to expand the proof of it."

Dr. Tiller is a Fellow to the American Academy for the Advancement of Science, a Professor Emeritus of Stanford University’s Department of Materials Science.  He spent 34 years in academia after 9 years as an advisory physicist with the Westinghouse Research Laboratories.

He has published over 250 conventional scientific papers, 3 books and several patents. In parallel, for over 30 years, he has been avocationally pursuing serious experimental and theoretical study of the field of psychoenergetics which will very likely become an integral part of "tomorrow’s" physics. In this new area, he has published an additional 100 scientific papers and four seminal books.
